What began as a love for Old Fashioneds and fish fry Fridays turned into something bigger: a mission to help others find the heart and soul of Wisconsin’s legendary supper clubs. Every weekend, we’d load up the car—my husband, a few close friends, maybe a playlist of old country tunes—and drive for hours chasing whispers of a good supper club in the Northwoods. We'd pass through small towns where neon signs buzzed above snow-dusted taverns and where servers greeted you like family. It wasn’t just about the food (though the prime rib didn’t hurt). It was the warmth, the stories, and the feeling of being part of something timeless. But more often than not, we were flying blind—dropping pins, scribbling notes, wondering: Is this place open tonight? Do they have a salad bar? Do we need a reservation after 6? That’s when SUPP App was born.
